Warehouse Person & LSD Accounts - Toowoomba - QLD

Land Transport is a leading national Road Transport company who specialize in General Freight Transport. Land Storage and Distribution (LSD) became an arm of Land Transport’s business in 2005.

Reporting to the National Warehouse Manager, this busy and diverse role will require someone with strong time management skills, as you will be required to run the warehouse in addition to check inbound/outbound freight, data entry ensuring accurate stock control of customer’s goods in store and processing the weekly & monthly invoice run. This position will require the successful candidate to hold a current forklift licence and have mature outlook to your work and the ability to work closely with all staff.

About the Role

Your day-to-day tasks will see you involved in a variety of duties such as but not limited to:

• Assisting with taking pick-ups & quotes
• Responsible for processing orders, stock control, Chep transfer/exchange documents & reporting requirements
• Labelling of orders
• Shrink wrapping of stock
• Loading & unloading of freight
• Order dispatching/receiving
• Receiving of customer inwards and outwards store requests
• Assist with customer enquiries by phone and email
• Invoicing of LSD Customers
• Statements and Accounts payable/receivable for LSD 

About You

We are looking for someone who has:

• Current forklift licence
• Pick & packing experience 
• Accurate stock control
• A high level of data accuracy
• Strong time management skills
• Great communication skills, both verbal and written
• A 'Can-Do' attitude and ability to think outside the square
• The ability to prioritise and multi-task 
• Previous experience as a warehouse store person and administration support within a warehouse/transport environment an advantage
